Edwards hit a home run to center field in the second scoring two, doubled in the fifth scoring two, and tripled in the third scoring one. Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Elie Grime doubled, scoring one run, Ellaynah Schaefer grounded out, scoring one run, Ellianna Young doubled, scoring one run, and Edwards homered to center field, scoring two runs. Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Isla Palomo singled down the left field line, Tessa Lane singled down the right field line, Schaefer singled, Young hit a sacrifice fly, Edwards tripled down the left field line, and Willard committed an error, each scoring one run. Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears added seven more runs in the top of the fifth inning on six hits. Edwards doubled, scoring two runs, Cassidy Lane homered to left field, scoring two runs, Lane doubled, scoring two runs, and Schaefer singled, scoring one run. Kenadee Lesch earned the win for Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears. The pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking three. Deel took the loss for Willard. The hurler went four innings, surrendering 19 runs (15 earned) on 16 hits, striking out two and walking three. Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears tallied 16 hits in the game. Palomo led Margaretta Varsity Lady Polar Bears with four hits in four at bats. A victory for Margaretta would put them a step closer to a Bay Division title!
