In the last two weeks two Margaretta Lady Bear Senior Basketball players have committed to continue their basketball careers at the next level. Ellyse Schaefer committed to continue her education and basketball career at Southeastern University. Southeastern is located in Lakeland, Florida, and is NAIA program that competes in the Sun Conference. Ellyse is a four year letter-winner for the Lady Bears. Ellyse averaged 7.3 points per game last year for the Lady Bears. She was also named Honorable Mention All SBC as a Junior and 2nd Team All SBC as a Sophomore. Cassidy Lane committed to continue her education and basketball career at Gardner-Webb. Gardner-Webb is a Division I program located in Boiling Springs, North Carolina and competes in the Big South Conference. Cassidy averaged 11.5 points per game as a Junior. She was a 1st Team All SBC honor as a Junior and a 2nd Team All SBC player as a sophomore.
