The Lady Bears went on the road Tuesday night and beat New London 45-19. New London came in 3-1 on the season, but the Lady Bears jumped out to an early 9-4 lead. A pair of three pointers by Cassidy Lane & Ellyse Schaefer got the Bears off to a quick start. In the second quarter, steals and baskets by Addyson Fitzthum and Kennadie Saylor, along with 7 points from Cassidy Lane pushed the Margaretta lead to 23-8 at halftime. New London would respond to answer the 3rd quarter. They would get back to back three pointers to open the half, to trim the deficit to 9, but they would get no closer the rest of the night. Thea Wybinsinger would hit a three of her own, and Addyson Fitzthum would knock down a pair from the line and the Lady Bears would control things by 12 going to the 4th quarter. Wybinsinger would open the 4th with another three, and Margaretta would get field goals by Kingsborough, Lane, Fitzthum, Saylor & Keller.
