The Lady Bears continued their hot start early in the season with a 66-27 victory over Huron on Friday evening inside the Iceberg. The Lady Bears got led 16-6 after the first quarter. As five different girls found the scoring column in the opening period. Addyson Fitzthum & Kenadie Saylor both had four, and Layni Schaefer knocked down a triple. Margaretta would out score the Tigers 20-7 in the second quarter and push their lead to 36-13 at the break. Cassidy Lane scored 6 points in the quarter, Kenadie Saylor added four more, Ashlyn Kingsborough, Thea Wybinsinger, and Renna Keller all knocked down three pointers. The Lady Bears would continue their run in the third quarter pushing their lead to 56-16 which put the game in a running clock situation. Thea Wybinsinger would hit two more triples, Kenadie Saylor added six more points. In the final period Huron outscored Margaretta 11-10.
