Margaretta freshman team navigates three-game stretch Margaretta’s freshman boys basketball team faced a challenging three-game stretch, earning a dramatic overtime victory before dropping two defensive-minded contests. The Polar Bears opened with a 50-49 triple-overtime win over Huron. Lawson Bailey and Gavin Grahl each scored 19 points to lead the Polar Bears in the marathon contest. Margaretta then fell to Clyde 41-37 in a tightly contested game. Bailey and Grahl again led the way, finishing with 10 points apiece. The stretch concluded with a 34-26 loss to Edison. Bailey paced Margaretta with nine points.
