Margaretta jumped out early, taking a 20–10 lead after the first quarter, then extended the margin by winning the second quarter 21–17 to carry a 41–27 advantage into halftime. The Polar Bears continued to control the game in the second half, outscoring Monroeville 18–11 in the third quarter and 17–13 in the fourth to secure the win.
