From the opening tip, Margaretta dictated the pace with relentless defensive pressure and efficient ball movement, building a commanding lead that left little doubt about the outcome. The Polar Bears forced turnovers early and converted them into points, racing out to a 25–9 advantage by the end of the first quarter. That momentum carried into the second period, where Margaretta continued to share the ball and attack in transition. The lead swelled to 48–15 by halftime, with multiple players already reaching double figures as the Polar Bears showcased their depth and balance. A running clock was in effect less than two minutes into the third quarter as Margaretta extended the margin even further. With the game firmly in hand, the Polar Bears relied on strong bench play to maintain energy and defensive intensity through the remainder of the contest. Senior Ellyse Schaefer added another milestone to her career, extending her school record for three-pointers made while finishing with 12 points.
