enior Cassidy Lane was named the Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division Softball Player of the Year today, adding yet another incredible accomplishment to her standout senior year. This marks the second straight sport Cassidy has earned Bay Division Player of the Year honors, as she also received the award during basketball season earlier this year. Lane put together a dominant season both at the plate and in the circle for the Lady Bears. Offensively, she is batting an impressive .543 with 7 doubles and 7 home runs. She has driven in 37 runs while scoring 33 runs herself this season. Inside the circle, Cassidy has continued to lead the Lady Bears with a 9-3 record and a 2.40 ERA across 70 innings pitched. She has struck out 118 batters while walking just 25 and has allowed only 24 earned runs all season.
