Margaretta Girls Golf Recap: Lady Bears Put Together Three Busy Days on the Course The Margaretta girls golf team competed in three consecutive events from Aug. 18-20, finishing runner-up showing at the Woodmore Shootout before wrapping up the stretch at the St. Joe Invitational. Hopewell-Loudon — Margaretta finished second in the team competition at Hopewell-Loudon, posting a 248. Hopewell-Loudon won the event with a 186. Margaretta individual scores: Kailey Fowler — 55 Lillian Kimball — 62 Olivia Brown — 65 Evelyn Jacoby — 66 Kennedy Fitzgerald — 72 Miranda Mey — 77 Woodmore Shootout — The Lady Bears followed up with another second-place finish, shooting a 219 at the Woodmore Shootout. Margaretta finished tied with host Woodmore at 219, while St. Joseph Central Catholic won the event with a 186. Margaretta individual scores: Ellaynah Schaefer — 50 Kailey Fowler — 51 Lillian Kimball — 52 Olivia Brown — 66 Evelyn Jacoby — 66 Miranda Mey — 74 Schaefer paced Margaretta with an impressive 50, followed closely by Fowler at 51 and Kimball at 52. Brown's 66 completed the four scores used for the team's 219. The performance represented a 29-shot improvement from the previous day's 248 at Hopewell-Loudon. St. Joe Invitational — At the St. Joe Invitational the Lady Bears finished 17th with a team score of 446.
