Lady Bears Capture SBC Runner-Up Finish at Championship Meet The Margaretta Lady Bears Cross Country team earned a runner-up finish at the Sandusky Bay Conference Championship Meet on Saturday at Lakota High School. Leading the way for the Lady Bears was freshman Morgan Miller, who finished second overall with an impressive time of 19:18.9. Miller paced Margaretta with an outstanding performance, establishing herself among the top runners in the conference in just her first year of high school competition. Tenlee Hemmer also delivered a strong performance, finishing eighth overall with a time of 21:00.4. Lucy Hartman followed in 15th place at 22:23.0, while Ayana Ramon-Quintero finished 16th in 22:23.9. Aryanna Ahner rounded out the Lady Bears' top five, placing 17th with a time of 22:29.1. Lily Woolaver finished 26th in 23:06.8, followed by Julia Packman in 28th at 23:28.4. Maddie Evans placed 33rd with a time of 24:35.9, and Eleonore Cappelle finished 48th in 27:11.1. As a team, the Lady Bears recorded 55 points to finish second in the conference standings, behind champion Ottawa Hills, which finished with 25 points.
